What should I do first ?

What? Trucklite LED headlights are plug and play. If you have DRL's now you would have them if you install trucklites.

I am quite certain DRLs use reduced voltage to operate. LED lights are very voltage sensitive. You can use an AEV ProCal to swap DRLs to fog lights or marker lights.

It's policy at work that we run with our headlights on while in a gov rig. So do what I do, turn ur headlight switch to the on position. Viola! DRL's.

You miss the point, Canada requires DRLs so if the OP disables them they may fail inspection of their province has them.

My DRLs still work with my trucklites....

You're in the US, right? How do you have DRLs? Do they use the headlamp? Are your Trucklites plugged into the stock harness or the direct to battery harness? I don't have firsthand experience but I've seen several mentions of this being a problem for folks in Canada.

My mistake. I thought the auto switch position and DRLs were one in the same. Not related, I apologise.

I turned on DRLs with my ProCal but when I installed my TLs I set it for the fogs. I did not even try them on the TLs because what I heard on here. On my previous vehicles I would use the auto setting and block the sensor on the dash so the lights stay on when running.

I'm on the east coast anyone have a place close to Canada to get gears done that would be worth the road trip?

Don't know of any shops up north but New Hampshire has no sales tax so that could save you some money depending on if it's feasible to drive there.

After a few months I took all of your advice I have ordered a new set of EVO rock sliders. Also I have an appointment to get 4.88 gears installed in a few weeks. The shop told me I needed to replace the D30front carrier. Now here is my question for you! Do I get front and rear LSD's or lockers? sence they are doing the gears. And why ether or I can get both LSD's for around 1000$!

Yeah I have my gear bought and waiting to get installed. I'm just wondering should I get lsd or locker at the same time and witch one is worth it
