Did some reinforcing work today on the frame for the recovery points on the rear, and for the tub support plates as I had noticed some fatigue cracks down by the tail lights. she’s primed. Back in for paint some time next week. View attachment 321547

A little more detailing and Wampa Jr. is done. Upside is the new tire carrier got the spare up high enough to use the offset lock n roll hitch. First time I’ve hooked it up with it and it leveled it right out. Great things when home brew Kentucky windage engineering works out. Thanks guys! Been a busy few weeks cramming work on this thing every break and free second but am tickled pink with how it came out. Got her beefed up structurally in a few more places. She should be able to take a hit or three. Figured I must’ve done something right with the way heads were snapping around on the way home today. [emoji23] got her all loaded back up. Nice to not have the old jacks taking up space. Got a new canvas top coming for her in black and some matching wheels. Tires will come once the Toyos on the heep are dead, then we’ll do a full set of 35 shoes the whole way round. Gonna start saving now.
