What I used to wheel and where I am at now…

This is my old 08 FJ that I had for awhile. It was fun wheeling and taking on trips before my wife and I had our first child back in 2021. After that the thought of something catastrophic happening and the amount of time to safely get to the back seat was a fear that came more over me than my wife so I sold my FJ and bought a Focus ST2 as a daily until I can find what I want next for family camping, hunting and wheeling. As of May 2024 we are boy parents to our second little boy. And thankfully becuz of Eddie and Mel Wade. I’m leaning towards a JT Gladiator Rubicon.

My brother is considering a ‘24 Gladiator Rubicon as well. Very low priced right now.

The FJ looks really nice but the back-seat access on it is strange. I can see why you were concerned with a small child.

You should be happy with a Gladiator, which has a normal back seat, and can also haul stuff.
 
Welcome to Wayalife. You'll like the Gladiator as it will fit the bill for all of the fun things you and your family love to do. We have a JLU & JT and love them both for family & fun.
