What do I need in a garage air compressor?

Sure does storage wise. What I cam up with was adding another tank to the existing unit via a flexable hose.At a garage sale I found a compressor with a bad motor but the 30 gal tank was good for $10.00. double the storage for alot less money?

if u have the space i would get the larger tank. it will supply more volume of air since it holds more.
u can also make an air system for your garage out of copper pipe, or something like the http://www.garage-pak.com.

Thanks for the replies! I was looking at the various ones at Home Depot/Lowes/Sear and even Harbor Freight. Guess I have some more research to do. :sigh:

I use mine for the same types of things you are talking about, I purchased, what I believe is a 25 gallon from harbor freight in about 2000/2001 it is still running strong today. Best part about it I got it for just over $100 with one of the 20% off coupons which are always floating around.
