What did you drive

Looks like a 24v I would love to get my hands on a one in fair shape

I man I would only buy a common rail or a 12v never a 24v (vp44 pump) truck again. It was a good truck tuned up pretty good, but a lot of trouble all the time. The vp44 trucks just are not the best.

Wow good to know. I have a friend that had a 24v that I loved I couldnt believe he ever got rid of it. I just love the motor in that thing. Im also not far from leadfoot. I would love to take one over there and make it a sled monster.

Haha yea mine was tuned pretty heavy. On 37/13.50s it would run a 16 second 1/4 with a slipping clutch. It was fun. But a second gen 12v is more reliable and cheaper to build the power on. Common rail is the most expensive, but a lot newer motor.(2nd gen 12v, 1994-97. 24v 97-02. Common rail 03 and newer.)

I traded my Sierra in for what I'm driving today. I do miss her but I don't miss not able to park in parking structures and valeting her when I'm in LA area.
