Cobra 29 LX , I also got the Rugged Ridge overhead CB mount but it isn't going to work the way I wanted it to so I'm going to copy NV375's way of mounting with P clips.

Not my way. I used a variation on what I saw here on the forum. If I was using a different radio I was going to Velcro the back of the radio to the plastic over the mirror. Something I also saw here.

Be careful when installing the front and rear bows. You want to install them from the font or rear sides (tip from Eddie) vs applying pressure across the jeep to make them bow enough to fit. Doing the latter will cause the surrounds to break. I ended up super gluing mine back on a few times and worse case I will epoxy some metal reinforcement plates on next time, granted I could/should have just warranty replaced them.

Is that a trektop? If so just get it warrantied. I broke mine off and had a new one soon after.
