I'm usually pretty cheap, but I know quality, and BD is good lights.
Alan had less light than my package, and on our night rescue trip out in Moab, I was in the lead, but told him to go ahead and turn his lights on. I had both mirrors pulled in a bit, so it didn't bother me, and when he lit the world up around and way in front of me, it made it look like a dark spot where my JW Speakers were shining.
I used to think they were pretty bright, and all I needed in front. After seeing them look like stick JK lights compared to Alan's set up, I knew I had to do something, as I go out at night way too often to do it in the dark.
It was like buying a new set of tires though [emoji37]
