What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Picked up my aux switches from the dealer today. It was part of the negotiation process and I got it thrower in after actual deal was made. Will do the install over the weekend IMG_7755.jpgIMG_7756.jpgIMG_7757.jpg

I figured since plastic rivits will get damaged and the kit may not have replacement once I bought four of them for $27 i could not believe my eyes when the service guy handed me the Invoice. The best part when I opened the box they were there as part of the kit oh well

I just installed this kit for a friend of mine. Took about 3.5-4 hours. When pulling the harness through the firewall grommet I used a hanger, a bunch of electrical tape and silicone spray and I was stunned how easily the harness came through, the trick (besides the lubricant) is to tape the wires strategically so they’re not one large mass. Also the wire ties are a bitch to get around the wire trough in the early steps. I wound up drilling 1/4” holes (with a step bit to avoid damaging the wires inside the trough) and attaching the harness to it with wire ties with built in tree clips. *mods please correct inverted mobile pics - thx

Amazon delivered my oil 4 days late only for me to open the outer packaging and immediately see the inner packaging was soaked in oil. Opened up and 3 bottles leaked. :crazy_eyes:
