A couple people in my club have their ARB compressor under the hood and they get super hot even with the hood open. I asked the ARB rep about this at EJS safari (he was on the Moab Rim trail with our group) and recommended under the seat. He said never under the hood. Compressors heat up air and when you start off with hot air off of an engine, it gets even hotter.
Those dual compressors get hot as fuck either way. Mine is mounted under the seat, I just have an 18” braided hose on it and the quick disconnect mounted to the seat bracket. First couple times aired up and went to disconnect the hose from fitting, I burned my hand, I cried a little and had to reach into my purse for a handkerchief to wipe my tears of.... I now hold a towel in my hand when disconnecting the fitting. Also the first couple times I used it, I smelt carpet burning lol. My 18” braided hose left an imprint in my bed rug carpet. No more smell though, I still keep an eye on it every time I use it and let the fan run for like 15 min after I am done airing up.

Got some goods.
CORE Tier 3 lower control arms to replace my broken one. Wow, these things are built! No worries about dragging these over a rock.
Also got a nice set of snatch blocks for 3/8 cable. They seem well built, and greasable, with a protected zerk fitting
Finally a Fire stick with spring so I can get the CB working.
Now if I can get time to work on it, plus fix the speed sensor issue I'm having.
Now you tell us, I burned the shit out of my hand at the badlands. We aired up 4 jeeps in a row and then I grabbed it

Perfect! So which line did you go with? I need to make that switch.
