Weston's Copperhead build thread!

I mounted one tonight. I'm about over lifting heavy things for a couple days. Lol
I'll post a picture tomorrow!

Think of it this way.. You don't have to go to the gym and you'll be in great shape :thumb:

Check out my new rear lower control arms. They don't even need grease fittings. :D

They're even adjustable, you just drill a hole at whatever length you need. Best part is the price at $3 a piece. Can't wait to see how they flex.

I should have taken these to SEMA. Lol

I painted a few more of the wheels and rings tonight and mounted another tire.
I have decided to try and reweld the factory control arm brackets back on the rear axle and cut off the EVO high clearance axle brackets. I hope this will be possible without too much work. I'll post some pictures throughout the process this weekend! Hoping to be back in the drivers seat very soon!

I have the brackets and know where they go, the hard part is going to be removing the 50 inches in beads of weld that ORE laid to get the crazy strong brackets they installed attached to the rear axle.
I just don't want to sink another $3k into the jeep right before the holidays. Don't think the kids would like me to much when Santa has an EVO high clearance long arm kit under the tree Christmas morning for them. Lol

Will after a lot of reading and research I decided on a 3" Enforcer with 5100 Bilstiens.

Great looking rig... I am considering a similar set up as I prepare to get into my first set 35's on my 2010 JKU. Might you have any additional photos of the EVO Lift and the ATX 194 rims combo? I am torn between them and the AEV Pintlers... Was Teflon an option for the matte grey color or only on the black?

Last question(s)..Cant tell from the photo but did the EVO lift remove the factory rake or is there still a light lean? Any reasons I wouldn't/shouldn't pair the Rancho RS9000XL shocks with the EVO Lift? I am still learning the ropes of wheeling so I figured adjustability would be a good thing as currently its more time on road than off... I am trying to find some local clubs out here on the east coast to do some testing but I am not finding a ton of EVO gear near me so its trial by fire...

Thanks in advance

The 194s are not avaliable in Teflon in grey. Im not sure I really like the Teflon anymore after seeming some wheels and what they look like after wheeling and age. Yes I highly recommend the Rancho 9000s for the enforcer and yes the factory rake is gone with the hardtop on. Let me see if I can dig up some more photos. I have since moved to coilovers.

I got the rest of the tires mounted onto my rims this morning along with a mounted the spare tire onto the rack which now I ran into problems with that but we'll work on that later.
