Well my jeep is no more....

Didn't some of the early jks have issues with the brake lines rubbing causing small leaks that would cause a fire from the brake fluid?

Recall

I'm so clad you are ok and no one was hurt, I got a recall notice for my 2013 transmission line I think or power steering line, can't remember, but I had it done, apparently a lot of jeeps were re-called for this. Any one else remember this, you might want to look in to this... just a thought...

I just googled it and yes they have had recalls for transmission, brake and power steering lines leaking and causing fires. The recalls were every couple of years all the way up to the 2013. This is definitely something that jk owners should be aware of.

Man, sorry to hear about your rig, but thank god you are OK and nobody got hurt. That's what is really important. I know that doesn't make you feel any better, but look at it this way. Now you can salvage it and do a Crispy V2 build!

Glad you are ok! Vehicles can be replaced, people can't be. Hopefully your insurance company will take care of you. USAA by any chance?

I bet the vehicle fire made that CDO's day.

Sorry to hear this! That really sucks but at least this didn't happen while it was in the garage and people were sleeping.

Thats sucks. Glad noone was hurt. Hopefully insurance is a breeze and they dont try and blame it on accessories and such. Good luck
