Weird DOORBELL CAMERA Encounters

Being that we now live the age of smart doorbell cameras like RING, Blink, eufy and the like, I figure there has to be more than a few of you who've had weird encounters captured by them. For us, we just had a random guy pull in our driveway last night, kind of late too I might add and let his dog out, walked up to our door and then rang our doorbell. When I opened the door and asked how I could be of help to him, he asked if his son was here. When I responded with, "your son?" He quickly said he was sorry and left. You can see it here.

That said, I'd love to see and or hear about your weird doorbell camera encounters 🤪

Maybe checking to see if anyone was home before robbing you

Your son? I have a kid locked in the shed; can you describe him?

About 2 years ago, we had a kid in his early 20s come to the door at about 3am, door bell, looking into the camera, and then knocking. Dogs started going nuts, I check the doorbell and he was acting skittish, and as I cautiously approached the door to ensure he didn’t try and get in without a fight he was gone, which prob had to do with the dogs being as aggressive as they were. So I jumped back on the camera and saw him run around the side of our house, but wasn’t sure if he went though the fence, so I let the dogs out back to have their way with him if he chose poorly. But they never made a sounds out there. About 10 minutes later police knocked on the door and they found the guy down the street in a bush lol. Apparently he was giving a wrong address for a booty call, but after he left our house he went to our neighbors, who’s an coupe in their late 50s and left their garage door open by accidents so he just let himself in over there and walked into their bedroom. Total dumbass but lucky he didn’t get shot with type of people on my street. Wish I had the video

What were you wearing when you opened the door?

Asking for a friend.

Nothing too crazy.

I have a couple events that come to mind. My neighbor down the street dances and sings in my front yard. Rabbits, coyotes, cats..

Last month one of the side yard cameras kept notifying of the neighbor's painter taking smoke breaks. Hilarious, but dude woulda been done a hell of a lot quicker if he didn't take so many smoke breaks.

Thats definitely weird. Luckily, we don't get too many encounters like that. I would be watching my cameras for a bit just in case.

Seems like the only people that come to my door are UPS & FEDX. Or my neighbor who needs to borrow a tool he doesn't have.

Had these jack holes set mine off and white back. The 3rd one didn't show. I walked out with some 9mm friends to accompany me. They had already headed down the street but I made sure they saw me. Motivated me to get my eufy camera.
