Honestly, that guy was on drugs if he really believes that. The JL handled amazingly well on the crack of dawn snow/icy roads around my house and if anything, to a fault. I was purposefully trying to stomp on the gas in 2WD to break the rear end loose and the ESC either didn't let me or was quick to correct for the slide I was starting to go in. Same goes for braking. I made multiple hard stops on ICE patches I found to see what would happen but in every case, the ABS did a great job of bringing me to a straight and safe stop and it a surprisingly short distance or relatively so anyway. By comparison, I always found my stock JK's to "feel" heavy in the rear and slip out more in 2WD. Of course, they were running MT's and not AT's like the JL and I'd have to think that played some role in that. Also, it could just be my imagination but the speed upon which the brakes pulse during ESC or ABS activation seemed faster to me as well.
