Caught the Bug
There is nothing in that photo that I don't love.
Homemade baked bean smoked on the egg.
I always wanted one and finally dropped the coin on one last summer. Their is a slight learning curve at the start but all in all very easy to use. I haven't used my gas grill since I bought the egg because their really is no comparison when it comes to taste. Absolutely love it , with the only downside being the price .I love LOVE good baked beans....wife gets mad when I eat them though. Nuclear aftermath. On a side note, how are you liking your egg?

I bought the large size. It's plenty big for us . I believe it's an 18" grill.Did u get the giant one?
I just got the cast iron grill and it's really nice. The plate setter is a must I agreeLove love love my Big Green Egg.
You won't have any issues with melting your deck being you'll need to have it in a "nest" or on some type of table.
If you do get an Egg definitely spring for some accessories like the plate setter and pizza stone. My next upgrade will be cast iron grill grates.

Bison tri-tip (Santa Maria style) with squash and cheesy garlic cornbread. Paired with an awesome Syrah.
