Watcha cookin'?

Finally got my Weber smokey mountain smoker, and made some chicken breasts last night with a dry rub, then some sweet baby rays at the end. Turned out great! Had to try it cause my friend is bringing a pork shoulder he got from VT on Sat so I had to do a test run. :beer:

Got to cooking some Santa Maria tri tip, mashed and sautéed veg. Paired with a bold, peppery cab franc. Tasty all around.

Ha. Just looked it up. Ur mostly right. This wasnt 100% with the grain, but I didnt get it right either. Thanks for the tip chef! 👍 Damn, the other half as left overs should be even better sliced right. Lol.

C. Had to qualify your admission with "mostly"

A= partially. 😁
B= yes i know against the grain. sliced from end in and thus missed the mark. Middle out works better.

Lol. I could not bring it out of me to say Overlander was right. So yup, mostly is appropriate. I was not right, but he was only mostly correct. 😉

This reminds me of a story of a person who ran a stop sign.... The cop pulls them over and they said "well officer I mostly stopped" the cop pulls out his mag lite and says "I'm going to start whacking you in the head with this flashlight. Tell me when you would like me to "mostly stop"".

JAGS, for the love of all things holy, please if someone is right just admit it, if they are wrong, call them on it. Don't be the "mostly" guy.

I just think it's funny you're celebrating your 13th anniversary with a nice bottle of wine and are looking up how to cut meat on the internet. :cheesy:

You either do it right or you don't. There isn't a mostly in a right or wrong situation. But carry on and enjoy your tri-tip, mostly.

Harsh. Lol.

Anniversary gets lost when kids home work and making lunches takes most the evening. Not to mention the royal cluster F that has been our last two weeks. I'll take funny as u say! Im just glad my wife is home at all. Got another hr or two I'll share. Thanks Dr MTG. 😂😂
