Watcha cookin'?


Next time I buy something from you you're going to need to sweeten the deal with some cow parts or I like smoked turkey also. Time for me to dust off the pit been a few years since I've smoked anything in it. I'm not even very picky about what wood as long as it is good for cooking. I've used all kinds of fruit and nut woods.

Very nice. Let me know how it turns out. I always line the bottom with foil and keep the racks "clear" so as to allow maximum smoke.

Full of smoke? It was in need of more chips so I added some as I took this.
 
That looks great! Did she ring the triangle and yell "come and get it!" when it was ready?

Lol! No, but she said if I want to eat, I had to make her a margarita.

Great idea though! I may have to look for one of them there dinner triangles.
 
Tri-tip finished. About 5.5 hours in the smoker with hickory chips. Came out with a nice smoke ring.

Enjoyed the weather and ate dinner outside paired with some homemade coleslaw and lemonade. And some spicy pickle slices.
