Just looked up Von Schmidt, that’s pretty interesting stuff. I’ve never considered how they did the surveying for state boundaries. It's funny because there's a lot of places and even lines that had been drawn up like this. As in, by mistake. The Von Schmidt Line of 1873 is a big one.
LOL - cool that you looked it up. I love this kind of stuffJust looked up Von Schmidt, that’s pretty interesting stuff. I’ve never considered how they did the surveying for state boundaries.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and we apologize for it being so short. In reality, we weren't really planning on filming that day at all and just kind of pieced something together based on what we did get.Another nice video guys, well done. My only gripe is that it was too short.
Thank you and yeah, it's really nice out thereGreat video! That looks like a really nice area.
Glad you enjoyed itGood history lesson, thank's for sharing a part of your trip.
Happy to hear you enjoyed itAwesome video! Thanks for sharing!
That really is the best time to be out in the desert. Just after some rain but not so much where it's a mess. Well, there was some mud but not enough to be overwhelming LOLInteresting history and great video! It looks like the conditions were great. Recent rain to keep the dust down but not muddy. Must have been an enjoyable trip.

Very cool and long time no see. We have a place in Boulder City and hook up with Mel down in Fort Mohave all the time. Nice area to be in.Hey, great video. You might remember me as the NW Moderator from the JK Forum Days and the "Scream" video. I still have my timber operation in Oregon, but live in Laughlin, NV. Off Road Evolution is just a few miles away in FT. Mojave/Bullhead City, AZ. To get there, I have to cross the Veteran's Memorial Bridge over the Colorado river which is also a "Three Point" (California, Arizona and Nevada). No monument, but there's a Casino on the Nevada side and the start of the Mojave Trail. After I EVO up my new JT Gladiator Sport S diesel, I'll do the Arizona Strip in 2WD.
great video, I guess i've got another thing to add to my list of places i need to visit.Awesome! Hope you can make it out there sooner than later
