VIDEO : RAMPAGE Trailview Fastback Soft Top for a Jeep JL Wrangler 4-Door

Sure is a great look. I did have a few questions but in reading thru the thread they have been answered. This top compliments that jeep well, just my 2 cents.

Here are a couple of pics of what the clamps should look like when installed. Please note that they do in fact go over the OE brackets. This allows the windshield header channel to sit tighter against the windshield rubber seal.

Here's a shot from above.

so I installed this top today and I'm getting a ton of wind noise, and whistling coming from the front corners of the top. here are some picture from where I have pinpointed the noise. Did I install this properly as it doesn't look like it sits flush and you can see the gap that's making all the noise on both sides. any help or ideas would be great as the top is amazing other then this.

I get wind noise from those areas too. Being that the Trektops that I've run on my other Jeeps made a lot of noise too, I never gave it too much thought but looking at mine now, I can see what you're talking about. I think I might try to add some weather stripping there to see if it helps.

I'm noticing now at speeds above 70 mph the top is lifting and I can see light between the top and were it meets the windshield. Same as you described, I did install the latch over the original. Was there something different about the new latch rampage sent you?

Rampage never sent me a new latch.

can you update on this top, still thinking of this as alternative (when you get some time)
So, I like the look of it a lot. I think the lines are a lot nicer than Bestop. I also LOVE how it functions and love how you can store the windows in the top itself. Assembly of the door surrounds was kinda lame but then, I only had to do that once. In spite of all the screws, it held up well or at least, up until I put the hard top back on.

With that said, I'm still having issues with the front of the top lifting up at speeds of 75+ mph. This causes a lot of wind noise and it does bug me. I do plan on giving this another look once it starts to warm up again but if I can't get it fixed, I will be ditching it. The noise it just too annoying.

jeez...glad I kept reading. I had just gone to your Amazon link and added to cart, and than decided to read remaining threads. Seems like nothing under $1000 worth a shit...a shame. :cautious:
Thanks for posting Eddie!
