They're just 245's. Essentially, about a 31" tire. As I state in the video, the traction control on JL's and JT's are amazing. They practically make it feel like you have lockers.

And I'd know because for the last 10 months since I I've had my JK, it's been stock or at least suspension wise, (which changes tomorrow 😉) and I've put it through its paces. And yes, with a few scratches and bruises along the way. It's also great to see Jet out playing again. Something about him stands out from the rest of the rigs. Maybe it's the 38s, maybe it's the old school Slimlites, or maybe the black wheels 🤔

Not gonna lie, I've been having a hard time getting used to the clutch too. Nothing like what I had on my JK and nothing like what I still have on my YJ, CJ5 and CJ3B.

Thanks for the reply. I just posted a question about going to 35" tires. I really need more ground clearance but I don't want to regear . Any Suggestions?

What are you running now? 2 door or 4 door? Engine size? Manual or Auto?

Running the same thing. JL Sport 4 door Auto with 2.0. We've had 35s for a year now. No reason to re-gear, in my opinion. We don't have a lift on it yet, and I would imagine it would rub off road. But as far as performance, performance is fine.

Thanks, that is the answer I was hoping for. With the Mopar lift and reprogramming the transmission shift points, our jeep dealer said I would be fine also. I just wanted another opinion from someone who really uses the jeep like I do. Nice looking rig.

Thanks. Unfortunately no off-road time with this one yet. But it flies up the mountains with 35s. If we stay with 35s, we won't ever re-gear.
 
I did some research on the lift. I like the Mopar 2" lift because is comes with Fox Performance Shocks and new radius arms, which will give me more articulation in the front. The price seemed to be fair as well. Thanks again. I will move forward with this next modification.

If they really are making radius arms now, I would NOT recommend them. They will NOT give you more articulation.
