History is one of the best things about the west. In AZ we are blessed to have thousands of mines of mining roads to explore. A month or so ago I took some friends of mine to some Indian ruins and then to a couple of very old cabins. One is in a deep canyon. You can get there in a side by side or Jeep and then have to walk about 100 yards along the creek and know where to get out to find the hidden cabin. I walked right up to it and have only been there one time about 10 years ago. I enjoy trying to see how they lived. They must have been some tough people.

There was also one cabin out in the open.

That old cabin is so cool. Iike to get out and check out those spots also! Hard to not be interested in the history of it all.
