Effective windshield protection from rock strikes, a new suspension system for Wrangler JL and Gladiator, a handy tool to help you pull things located at the far end of your truck bed toward you and finally, a crazy conversion for a Jeep that purposefully makes it into a baller of a "road" rig, is all what you'll get to see in our 4th and final day at the 2024 SEMA Show.

Of course, more pics and all kinds of SEMA Show stuff that doesn't make the video cut can be found here:

Windshield Defense looks great. Since I need to replace mine windshield soon, this would be a good time to get that. What do you think about this?

Bed Buddi is a cool idea.

Stradale, well, I have nothing nice to say.

Thanks for putting this series together, it was awesome as usual. 👍
I'm not sure if it's what Highway Trout has but he might be the better one to ask about Windshield Defense. The idea of it sounds great especially being that the cost is about a third what a standard new JL windshield costs and a quarter if you have adaptive cruise control. But, it's still quite a bit of money and you would still need to replace it entirely once every 3 years. Hard to say for sure if it's worth it.

Windshield Defense seems like a good idea, has me curious how it would hold up during bug season around here, they are big, solid, hit the windshield with force and are a PIA to get off the windshield during the summer because the heat bakes them onto the windshield.
Also looks like something the apply to a new windshield vs one that's already pitted; I would think all the pitting would really stand out.
Wonder if they have any control at night to help old eyes with headlight star scatter.
And last, I'm jealous of that guy's hair, WTH, it looks like a nicely trimmed animal on his head... I want one.

CYC Engineering, they need to work on their website navigation, had to put in too much effort to navigate and drill down to the JT suspension only to get the message "nothing found". Also didn't see any suspension test videos on their site.

Bed Buddy, good idea and rated at a 200# pull? that's pretty good.

Stradale, hmmm... nice interior I would never step into and if I did, my dog would never, never ever get inside along with all the people I know, I wouldn't let them ride in it either.
Took a gander at their configurator... $146,000!!! I can get the same results by eating too much colorful food, drink too much whiskey then puke it all up, and they both have the same thing in common... I wouldn't step in it either.

Thank for taking us along! Nice work!

Good point about the bugs and getting baked in. Takes a hell of a lot of effort to clean too and I do wonder if doing that would affect the film.

As far as CYC goes, they're pretty new to the scene and I really don't know much about them other than the fact that they had a suspension system for a Jeep. Outside of Real Truck with their Superlift kit that they've been showing for the last 6 years, this was the only thing I could find.

Bed Buddi had a video going where they used it to pull a pallet with a lot of weight on it. Still took effort but it didn't break or have any issues.

Stradale is over the top baller stuff for sure LOL

Windshield defense seems like it would work well out here. Though I’ve been lucky to not break a windshield yet.

Bed buddy is awesome, I’ll probably order one, especially since the wife is vertically challenged 😆 so she would appreciate it. Price point isn’t bad at all.

Not sure how that suspension company managed to put together a kit with aluminum arms and res shocks for just north of $4k… but wow.

As for the Italians…. I’m glad they at least acknowledged what jeeps are meant for and that they’re trying to do something specific for on road stuff. DEFINITELY not for me but I can appreciate the craftsmanship for sure.

Like the others have said, just get a damn Gwagon and save money lol

I like the bed buddy idea 😂 I hate opening the bed cover to get one small thing that slid to the back lol

I appreciate your thoughts on what you saw at the show! 👍
The ugliest Jeep I ever seen… they wasted a 392… looks like Barbys Jeep 🤢 🤮

*To the Dealer who sells the 392 to that company- Please don’t do it again!!!
:ROFLMAO:
Gawd dam Italians! RIP to that 392. Thing is, there are people out there that will pay that money for it.

Still skeptical on the windshield defense. Shockingly enough, I’m still on my original windshield. I have three chips that haven’t spread over several years haha I probably just jinxed it
The windshield defense seems to be a good idea but the cost is high enough, I would only consider it for a JL or JT with adaptive cruise control being that replacements for them is really expensive. For a JK, I can get non-Mopar replacements for like $120.

Or you could buy a G Wagon. A little much for me.
Alex and I were watching this and she said for that price just buy a G wagon! Thanks again for the coverage!

The Gwagon audience is who they are going for and I have a feeling, they will get ballers to buy them.
They should stick to pizza.
:ROFLMAO:

I looked at the windshield defense when I was at a jeep show in Florida. The salesman mentioned that it’s best on a new windshield because the laminate will highlight all the previous damage that has occurred on it. Also bought a bed buddi after watching your vid.
