VIDEO : CRAZY About the 8

Did you hear the reason they stopped the putting it on the 392 Extreme? Congrats to the New jeep again, Wonder what the Plate will say??
Never heard a reason for it but I do know that next year, Jeep will be releasing the 20th anniversary Rubicon and I'm pretty sure it's gonna feature the JL refresh, 392 and Extreme Recon package.

As far as the plate goes, fortunately, we live in Nevada as as you know, we get to keep our personalized plates. Needless to say, we kept the one that was on Jet and will be reusing it.

I've heard a few rumours, but the most solid one is they are saving parts for the 2023 model year which the rumor mill says will start with the order banks starting mid june and vehicle builds starting in September

Congratulations to you guys. It’s a V-8 thing. And you gotta do what you gotta do😉
I’m sure you’re gonna have a lot fun👍

That's awesome! Congrats on the new addition and looking forward to following the build!

It would be kinda interesting to see how far you can push/beef up the stock axle's before you took it full on beast mode with 1 ton's, etc. Congrats on the purchase, awesome looking Jeep !! Did I miss the new name for it yet ??

LOL - Thanks! it's a ton of fun... for us anyway and we always have a HUGE grin on our face when we drive it 😁
Thank you :)

Thank you. Hoping to enjoy it as is for a while and ease into the build.
I don't think I realized that there were CV's upfr ont, it makes "sense"....
Yeah, 392's come with full time or auto 4WD and that means, CVs on the front shafts.

No name yet. Kinda hard to come up with one knowing that things will change. But yes, hoping to build this one slower than our JT and push the axles as long as we can.
Whew!! I was hoping that when you sold Jet Li it was to make room for a 392… and not a bronco! “Oh please no!” 🤣
LOL - I like the Bronco's and super glad that Ford came out with them again. For sure, it is the biggest reason that Jeep came out with the 392! While I wouldn't be opposed to driving a Bronco, I am a Jeep guy through and through.

Don't take this the wrong way, MAN I hate you....

Congrats you two, can't wait to see all the vidz on this blank canvas.

Ripley, you can growl back at the new one, you were there first.

Fuckin' awesome......as much as I love AMW , AEV, etc...a factory fresh, no strings attached V8 in a JLU...Wow!!! (& I'm jealous 'cause its insane expensive here - import - and totally crazy gas wise!!)

In spite of our love of big V8 engines, there's a reason why Cindy and I didn't buy a 392 HEMI Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, right when it first came out. Well, aside from the fact that we already owned 3 built up Jeeps that did everything we wanted and more and this is to say nothing about Moby, our JK Wrangler that already had a Motech 6.2L LT. In this video, you'll get to learn what our main struggle was and what we ultimately decided to do and why.

Great video! Love the edits and music. Loved the ride home, nice scenery.
Oh the 392 is great too, but Moby is still my favorite.

Eddie and Cindy, thank you for the awesome video and congratulations on the new 392, I love the sound.

Amazing video as always. I always love seeing your sweet dog enjoying life. We miss all of our past dogs.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for your new 392 and the name will be special for sure.

Great video and congrats on the new ride.

Curious to know how the power feels to you in the 392 vs Moby?

Beautiful!

I see it has boots on the front axle. Does it have CV joints? Does it have full time four wheel drive? Was it special ordered, or something the dealer had on the lot?

I really like the camera work in this video. How fast does the drone fly?
As I recall, the 392 has full time four wheel drive in order to reduce stress on the axles.

Congrats you two!!! I think we all knew Cindy was going to win this one haha it was inevitable! Looks and sounds great. Can't wait to see what you do with it 🍻

Thank you and no, we did not get it the Xtreme Recon. Unfortunately, it is no longer offered on 392.
That sucks. After my initial frustration of it being "reauired" to get the 3.6 over the 2.0 it really is how the Rubicon should come for those who plan on using it. The only downside is there's just not much to mod for those who DD it. If only I could have talked myself into a stupid high payment I'd have gotten our JL with the 392...haha. It's only money right?..haha. Again congrats

This is how Jeeps should have always been offered or at least, in my opinion. Make them expensive but make them available. Can't imagine how stupid expensive it would be in your neck of the woods though. Yikes!
