VIDEO : AWESOME Jeep Mods & Accessories for Jeeps at SEMA 2024 - DAY 3

I didn't even think to watch the install video. I'll check that out. Could definitely see that being handy and really not a bad price to include all the bags

I dig the tailgate storage from XG Cargo but it's JL only, not JK. Would it be something that would fit? I'm not familiar with the differences in the tailgates. The freedom panel flip brackets are pretty cool. Like previously mentioned, I'm not sure how I'd feel about it at highway speeds but around town be pretty nice.
The lock to hold the freedom top panel in place has a heavy spring and I personally think it would hold up well at highway speeds. What I'm not sure off is how it would hold up to highway speeds off road 🤪
depends on the width, but watching their install video, doesn't look like it would take much to modify the JK tailgate for 3 screws
What jeeep said, I bet you could make it work.
I like the trunk and lock boxes for the wrangler. But I need more time for others to be the Guinea pigs and figure out if they rattle or not.
From experience running something like a Tuffy box is that it will be quite and rattle free at first but after a few years, the rubber seals and other buffers will start to wear out and that's when the noises begin. That said, what they have going to provide a tight fit is different that what I've had and maybe it'll do better.

Some really cool stuff in this video, I will definitely be watching the video again!

Thanks for the detailed information!
You bet and glad we could share some of this cool stuff from the show :)
Definitely some cool stuff, thanks for sharing. I like the corner bags that xg had, can definitely see a use for those on my future
The corner bags are really nice. I really like that all their stuff is made in the USA, Chico, CA to be exact.

Imagine being able to open your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator Freedom Top panels, in seconds and without having to remove them? How about having a secure lockable truck without having to drill any holes or truck bed security without needing any tools? What if the later could also be rotated to make an enclosed longer bed when the tailgate is open? All that as well as all kinds of great storage solutions for the trunk of of a Wrangler can be found in this video. And, as a perk, you'll also be able to see an easy to install device that can help improve pedal response or set to give you better fuel economy.

Of course, more pics and all kinds of SEMA Show stuff that doesn't make the video cut can be found here:

XG Cargo finally released the Gen 2 Stealth cargo bag they showed you in this video. I had recently contacted them with issues with their Adventure bag, which doesn't mount as securely to the 2024+ roll bars due to the offset screw spacer required. They offered me either a refund (generous considering how long I'd had them) or an upgrade/crossgrade to the Gen 2 Stealth, which I took them up on.

Seems to work well so far. There's only a tiny bit of horizontal play at the bottom of the bag, but finally there is zero vertical or sway movement. Five stars for the mount sturdiness. I don't think I'll use the release function much, but it could be nice if I need to clean out valuables for a visit to the dealer, etc. Versus the older versions with the metal mounting frame outside the bag, the Gen 2 does make the bag protrude inward more into the cargo area, but that does free up some space between the bag and the window for soft items to get stuffed in there. The biggest downside for some might be how it takes up the roll bar bolts, which a lot of folks may already be using for other things. I think if I had a 2023 or earlier JL, I'd still go with their older outer frame bags due to price, but this is a much better mounting solution for 2024+ models. Price for these is pretty expensive, but I paid for it in two parts with the original purchase plus upgrade price, so that made it less painful; plus they gave me a small goodwill discount and threw in a free extra dry bag.
