Imagine being able to open your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator Freedom Top panels, in seconds and without having to remove them? How about having a secure lockable truck without having to drill any holes or truck bed security without needing any tools? What if the later could also be rotated to make an enclosed longer bed when the tailgate is open? All that as well as all kinds of great storage solutions for the trunk of of a Wrangler can be found in this video. And, as a perk, you'll also be able to see an easy to install device that can help improve pedal response or set to give you better fuel economy.

Of course, more pics and all kinds of SEMA Show stuff that doesn't make the video cut can be found here:

EZ4x4 stuff is really nice. Love the security boxes for the wrangler. The JT boxes are awesome to go from security box to bed extender is sweet. Pretty innovative stuff. I’d drink with that guy.. he has not many shits to give. 👍

Edit: Hazard stuff is cool too. I think the trail rail covers are stupid but the shelf is pretty cool. Still like the freedom panel panels too. Nice he’s setting you guys up with affiliate links. 👍

Thanks guys, good stuff.

The EZ4x4 Freedom Panel flip kit is a pretty good idea, I never take them off when on trips because they're a PIA to deal with. I think I'd have a hard time trusting them in the open position at freeway speeds but on slower drives they'd be nice to have.
The JT trunk, what a simple but great idea, the bed anchors are also a great idea.

Hazard 4, not for my use - I don't want more junk on the visor, if it wasn't so bulky maybe, I do like to keep a small note pad and pen handy. The rear top bag looks interesting, too bad it's not like the front bags.

Pedal Commander had one on the 2010 JKU, it worked on the 3.8, didn't really use but 1 setting because it was wither too touchy or more dog than stock. I screwed mine up by changing settings on the fly, not supposed to do that- sent it back to Pedal Commander, they fixed it and sent it back quickly (y)
I like the update with the security pedal option, that's easier to use than the security option on the Tazer. Is ZAutomotive there? would be nice if they released an app for the JL like they have for the JK.

XG Cargo, I like their corner bags and mounting system. I like that they hold their shape when empty, others I have seen collapse when removed and look like a PIA to mount up all the buckles in order to pack them. May have to give them a try, USA made (y)

Great coverage but you're costing me money lol

XG cargo has some great ideas, I’ll have to see if they make stuff for the JK since I’ll potentially be outfitting it for work next year.
(Just checked and they have it for the JK as well)

I also like the idea of the Hazard 4 rear rack!

Kudos to you and Cindy for the great coverage and focusing on items you think will interest the forum! (y) I echo what's been shared on the EZ4x4 items, some clever and useful items for sure.

🥃 yeah, that would be a fun conversation!

The boxes for the JT are a pretty cool design. Looks pretty useful.
I agree. I really like the simplicity of the first box being able to just lock in by closing the tailgate but the other one that flips out to make a bigger bed with a tailgate could be really useful as well.

The EZ4x4 guy was a hoot for sure. Really sharp guy with all kinds of good ideas.

Regarding Hazard, they were super happy with how much sales they got from the video we made and they were eager to have us come by at the show. Really makes me happy when we can help companies like this and it's always nice when they're appreciative of it.

LOL - as always, I love the feedback that you provide on videos like this. It really helps me to get a better idea if what we're covering is actually helpful to guys like you. Thank you.
Cool stuff the JT tie downs are simple but cool as are the boxes.
I totally agree :)
Looks like storage and equipment mounting options are a huge theme this year. Think my favorite and most useful one was the JT bed extender/storage box by EZ4x4.
Yup, even more than the Freedom Top hinge kit, that box/extender is what really caught my eye. I should note that there are a lot of other things being shown at the show but most of it is kinda lame, copycat china shit or just doesn't really interest me. LOL

That EZ4x4 Guy... But wait there's More! Really cool stuff. The Freedom Top Hinge is kinda cool.
LOL - oh man, you have no idea!! :ROFLMAO: We literally had to cut a third of our interview with him because he had more and more and more stuff to show. I will say that a couple of things we didn't show is an amazing Ford Bronco hard top opening solution that was super slick and a hard top removal system that was cool as well. We probably could have made this entire episode on his stuff 🤪

Definitely give them a look as the owner has been in the industry for a very long time.
EZ4x4 really seems to have some cool ideas.
It's funny because the owner was quite the character and full of cool ideas.

We really do appreciate you saying as much. There's so much to see at SEMA and it really takes a lot of work to figure out what to actually cover and we're glad to know that we're highlighting things people like you might be interested in :)

I dig the tailgate storage from XG Cargo but it's JL only, not JK. Would it be something that would fit? I'm not familiar with the differences in the tailgates. The freedom panel flip brackets are pretty cool. Like previously mentioned, I'm not sure how I'd feel about it at highway speeds but around town be pretty nice.

depends on the width, but watching their install video, doesn't look like it would take much to modify the JK tailgate for 3 screws
