VIDEO : Air Down & Air Up Your Tires ON THE GO

Realistically this is how lots of features we take for granted today came about. Yeah they’re prohibitively expensive for the average Joe now but the price will come down eventually. Might never make it onto mainstream vehicles but I’d be willing to bet it does make it onto a lot of off road oriented vehicles some day.
Yep

Super cool! As mentioned many times already, these are just for the guys that have money to burn or for someone always out on rough terrain. I actually think Cindy and Eddie are perfect for these with how much they are out exploring and on and off the dirt. With how often they rotate vehicles tho they would need multiple axle sets lol

Cool idea but damn that’s a lot of money!
LOL - BIG time money for sure but definitely cool.
Definitely cool - like all the others are saying the cost is obviously wild given you need the 60s, but nonetheless the technology is awesome in itself and I could definitely see myself using it if I had the dough.
The cost is totally nuts but even more nuts is how many guys on YouTube have been saying, "shut up and take my money!!" 🤪
Yea totally, I’m sure they’ll sell it to some people, plenty of people who have endless pockets i guess. Just hope they can recoup all that R&D money lol.
LOL - no kidding. I'll be honest and say that as cool as this is, it'd be hard for me to justify 🤪

Exactly and well said. While it's crazy expensive, I'm just glad that they did it. It's this kind of innovation that pushes technology along and makes others try to do it as well. Over time, it can become more affordable and even better for everyone.
That’s pretty cool! Maybe one day and different wheels…
More wheel options would be nice and from what I'm told, they are working on it.

LOL - while it would be super nice to have for all that we do, I think we'll be sticking with doing things the old fashion way for some time to come. I think I'd much rather have a V8 in our Gladiator :)

Doesn’t qualify as bling for the Gladiator, or 392 for that matter??

People are lazy as hell these days, but normally the lazy people don’t have much extra money laying around. I can see the older crowd that has problems getting up and down on their knees definitely being interested!

The way I see it, it isn’t about laziness, it’s about easily adjusting tire pressure according to changing terrain. The 2024 New Year’s Run is a perfect example.

For dirt roads at moderate speeds, I like to air down to 15-18 psi. Sand/rock crawling, 6-12 psi. For high speed bombing, 18-22. During the New Year’s Run, it would have been very convenient to be able to hit a button and drop tire pressures to 6 psi for added traction when tackling the rock obstacles and raise pressures when trying to keep up with Cindy during the high speed run across the desert.

Not complaining. The trip was a lot of fun. It’s a First World Problem, and while this solution carries a First World price tag, it would be nice to have. That said, my Jeep would be better off with that kind of money invested in other upgrades.
