Go install some like USMC said lol. But you really don't need them. I ran some 4-5 trails without them. As a matter of fact, none of us had any, just headlights and fogs.
 
The HEB on 1431 has always had the best gas prices when I went to HF, so that's where I usually refuel before heading to the park.

Got confirmation, just the boy and I will be heading up tomorrow. So I'll be down for some night wheeling.
 
Does anyone have a reciprocating saw / sawzall? That it wouldn't be too much to bring along ?? None of my buddies have one, so haven't got the chance to cut my fenders yet! [emoji17] if it's not a problem for someone who does have one would be great

I have one but not sure how my batteries will last. I used a cut off wheel on a grinder to cut mine. I'll bring the cordless sawzall.

Whatever will work better is fine! No need to bring something big if a smaller one will do the same job. But thanks a lot !

Sounds good ! We'll see how it goes, will be my first time night wheeling. So will be an experience I have to take advantage of while the opportunity is there ! No rock lights with me either. Just headlights, pods and fogs.
 
I thought I had Friday and Saturday off of work. Now I have to work Friday and most likely Saturday... I'm going to try and be there Saturday morning for the meet up unless I have to work. I'm bummed as I was excited to meet up with you guys and do some wheeling. Hopefully the stars align but if I can't make it, have a great time!!

I'm down to assist. Or at least watch. I haven't trimmed mine yet either.

Edit: anyone bringing anything that can power a 900 watt coffee maker? I'll share... the inverter in the jeep is only good for 150 watts...

It'll be a learning moment for me [emoji23] if anything goes wrong I have a second set of stock fenders lol. Shouldn't be hard though. I've watched enough videos to think I'd know how to do it

My only experience with it so far is with youtube aswell lol
 
Hi, all. Just checking in! I am hoping to make it to Marble Falls for the Friday afternoon Walmart meet and greet, but if not, I will catch up at the BBQ joint. I am coming from the Rio Grande Valley and will not be able to leave until a little later in the morning.

I am also staying in a hotel in Marble Falls, and vote for a later start time. But I am cool either way.

Most likely I would be in for a night run, if that is still on.
 
I'm also planning to arrive Saturday early - The wife will be with me so I figure I should ease her into this and maybe camp next time. It's my first time out there, will call later on Friday about a gate code. Just trying to figure out if there is a meeting place inside the park Sat early morning for those arriving. I'm just guessing it would be where everyone is camping but will plan on checking this thread too.

I would think campground B is where everyone will be in the am. That's where were camping, just follow park road up past the RV park and we'll be on the left after the long hill. :yep:
