Fender trim came out nice. From the pics, looks like you have a clean edge. Go without the black edge trim since you have the white. $0.02. [emoji106]

Im with Jags. Imo, the fenders look great and id leave the trim off. I eventually just took the trim off mine because it kept falling off anyway

What did you use to make the cuts? Looks like your edges are real nice!

Dremel with a plastic cutting wheel. Then scratch/smooth the edges with a file edge. Where there is a slight rough edge, use the fine side of the file. Mostly it's just the scraping smooth with the edge or tip of the file. Then fingernails/fingers to ensure you have it smooth......

Finally getting some suspension work done!!! Gussets are prepped and ready to burn in as well. Now onto the other side tomorrow night.ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1447308774.321457.jpg

Looking good, just see one problem.... Everything is clean!!!!!

So true!!! I am embarrassed to say it hasn't even been off the road once!!! I have been so busy with work and travel that I am just now making time to get it done! I just took my wife and I on a get away for a week.....I think that bought me a hall pass for some late nights and weekend work on Duke.

Looking good with just the brackets on, I am with you tho, still technically havent been offroad with mine yet either :sigh:

OH NO! Did you cut your battery?
I made a small slice in the bottom of mine but did not cut all the way through. I was surgically removing bits of that honey cone mess where the bracket goes. Using a die grinder with a cut off wheel in it. Something looked and sounded funny. Plastic looked shinier and felt kind of slicker.
Good thing is my wife keeps asking me when I am going to get a new battery. We have both read posts about these batteries going belly up after 2-3 years.
Good God have batteries gotten expensive. Got my eye on that newer Odyssey.

Someone really should put out the warning/ word that you need to remove the battery before starting this project.

I wish I would have known about removing it thats for sure, I was sanding/grinding away with no issues till off a sudden I was getting wet and it started to burn a little. Nothing like ruling a new brand new battery.
