Hey everyone!
Starting this late as it is kind of the end of this stage, with more to come I'm sure (as it always does!). This is my second JK that I picked up right before a move from Atlanta to Las Cruces NM. My last JK was a silver 2 door that I let go several years ago and have been Wrangler-less since (although there were a couple GC's in there). I knew with the move out west that it was time for another.
It is a 2015 JKUR HR | Auto | Tank
When I picked it up it already had a 2.5" RE Coil Lift, 315/70r17s on the stock wheels and spacers & an Alpine Restyle system. This was good enough to make the journey from GA to NM!
Got it to NM and a winch was already waiting at the new house (and an engine skid....no pics)!
Cut fenders are great but I have always been a big fan of tube fenders. Had Genright on my last JK but wanted something a little more cost effective this time and wanted black out of the box. Went with the Aries aluminums and I am actually quite impressed for the $. Put a Cobra 75 CB in & did a license plate relocations as well. (The view is from right by the house :rock
Knowing I had 37's and a bunch of other stuff on order, I installed front and rear adjustable track bars + a rear track bar bracket and did a trim job on the Hard Rock rock rails:
And finally, I picked it up last week from:
And now it's just a matter of putting a few hundred more easy miles on it for the final gear checkup and looking forward to hitting it!
