It was indeed a chuckwalla. First time seeing one of those on the trail. It was very nice of him to pose for us.

Saw this guy last fall on Hatcher Pass just outside of Wasilla, AK. He decided to be a road block for about 5 minutes.

Is that in Mendocino County? My first black bear was on a similar road such a cool thing to see!
