TRAIL TUESDAY : Let's See Pics from Your Favorite Trail!

Took these a few weeks ago on a little solo run up the hunter Creek Trail here in Reno. It's a fun little trail and only about 10 minutes from my house so it's nice for spontaneous little trips to get away for a bit

One of my favorite trails has to be the road to Laurel Lakes. Although it's not a very challenging trail the views are stunning and you get the added benefit of swimming in the crystal clear lake at the end of the trail if you can take the frigid temperature.

That's a good looking LJ...

Thanks, just finishing up L96/6L80 LS swap. Hoping to get back on the trails soon.

Went with high lines to clear the 39" Krawlers.

I wouldn't say this was my favorite trail, but having never been there before, I had to get a pic. :thumb:

That's a fun little drive. Was it clear to the top?

It might be now depending on if it snowed up there this weekend. when I went up there was still snow left over about 3/4 of the way up so I ended up turning around since i was alone. It is a fun area to go to though just to putt around even

Yeah I am hoping to make it up again soon. I have been wanting to go all the way through it again since last summer i tried by myself and got lost, Now I want to redeem myself and find the right way to go all the way through to Cabela's. But thanks to work It will be atleast a few weeks tohave the time to go again. Thanks it's always nice to see fellow Red jeeps!

hell ya! I went all the way through last summer, was a nice ride. I plan on doing it with another guy I work with, let me know if your going, maybe we can join you, and I'll do the same!

Sweet that works for me! If I end up going it'll probably be last minute but if you do make plans let me know and I can try and skip work and go jeeping. You know, Very responsible haha

We had a fun time running this a while ago to Cabela's. http://wayalife.com/showthread.php?...l-the-long-way-to-Cabelas&p=378069#post378069

I'd be up for doing it again.

I just looked at your thread and it looked like a great time. The first time I went up was with Reno4x4 with my brother and his jeep and we made it to where it looks like you guys had stopped in the snow just after hunter lake and the snow was to bad so we turned around. Then I tried to be a know-it-all and decided to take the better half and dog for a little 2-3 hour adventure to try out my jeep a few weeks after getting it. Well a Left became a Right turn instead and took us almost to Truckee and ended at a very stout locked gate. So that trip ended up being over 9 hours instead. Haha I would love to tag along but I may need to just bring up the rear haha
