Time for new brake pads.
Wow, looks like summer down there. Beautiful day to be doing work like this. I think it's supposed to snow up here :rolleyes2:
Nice to see you working on the Jeep again.
Isn’t luis the certified mechanic? And he is just sitting there. Lol

Nice. Looks like Luis was just there to supervise, drink beer and eat Ray’s famous cooking?
I see you got rays good side. LOL. How many miles did you get out of the pro grip pads?
Well we’ve had a pretty gnarly transfer case leak for quite some time. A really long time. Got so bad that we actually carry fluid with us everywhere and would have to fill it a couple times a month. This one had us scratching our head because it was near impossible to find where the leak was coming from.
It’s come time to finally address whatever the issue was so Ray put her up on our neighbors lift and he pulled the case. There was so much casting flash that look and felt just like cracks that we still weren’t sure where the hell the problem was. Fluid was all over it and earlier die test revealed nothing. Our hope was that we just had to replace half of the case. For good measure we took it down to a friends shop and after checking things out he decided our case was worthy of a name and he called it bubbles. He counted at least 7 leaks and unfortunately for us on both sides of the case. *

That sucks, but good it’s getting addressed. Are you guys replacing the whole case or just the housing?

First one or the 2nd? They know that they had casting issues but will not step up to recall.
The new one does have a warranty for a time anyway.
