Torsen or locker

Locker. Best of both worlds. True trac is ok. I have used them on front axles on a couple old ford builds and they work fine but still not a locker. There is a point where it will transfer torque and it requires wheel spin to activate the helical gears. Locker is better.

I'm in Jax as well. I had a TrueTrac on my Dana30 front and it always worked great. I've moved on to Selectable lockers, but would recommend the TTs to anyone wanting some extra traction. Save your coin on the trusses though, that's a waste of money.

While you may only lock your e locker once in a great while, when you do use it, it won't let you down. I have had various limited slips and when you need it the most is when it is not up to the task

You will get all of the downside of it all the time. With the e locker, when you don't need it, it does not do anything you don't like, and when you do need it, it is 100% locked, and that is the ticket.

For me it is a selectable full locker, whether you use it every weekend, or every year or two
