ThanksThe gladiator is looking good!
Ace Hardware, get a bolt with proper threadsHad to postpone installing the LOD rock sliders. Some of the Gladiators on the back drivers side has a nut inside the frame and some don't. Mine has the nut and the bolts that LOD sends has different threads which I didn't realize in time. So I messed up the threads on the bolt and nut. Got a tap and die set ordered to fix the nut and get a new bolt. Hopefully I'll get them installed before I have to go back to work Saturday.
Yeah that's where I'll get it. Got one 2 miles from meAce Hardware, get a bolt with proper threads
I had to remove that as well when installing my LOD sliders as well. I was lucky to have my brother in law help me.After downloading the instructions from LOD for the rock sliders, these things are going to be a P.I.T.A to install. Got to get 2 extra bolts for the driver side rear and middle brackets. Plus I got to cut this bracket off and then grind and paint it, before I can install the right front LOD bracket.
I got the stuff to do it, but my mom is in charge for the Toys For Tots in this area. I've been delivering boxes for her this week so I really haven't had enough time to cut it off.I had to remove that as well when installing my LOD sliders as well. I was lucky to have my brother in law help me.
From what I understand that peace is on all gladiators. Mine is a 22 and I've seen it on a 20Ohhhhhh, you got a newer JT.
Yeah there's some extra crap hanging off the frame.
Sorry about your dad.Well with the health issues my dad has. I'm going to change things up on my JT for a little while. I just ordered the EVO 2.5 Enforcer from Disciple Off Road. This way I can keep it low enough for my dad to get into it just incase I'm home and have to take him to a doctor's appointment. When I get my taxes back next year I'll set up a time to make the 1900 mile trip and get Jeremy and his guys to get it installed.
ThanksSorry about your dad.
