Time to replace the Toyos

Good luck! Been there done that, recently. I can't wait to do it again. :naw:

Did you have any trouble/vibrations without wheel balancing?
...it's possible to balance so big tire with badlock...?

If this was directed at me I can tell you that 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers and ATX slabs do not require balancing. I'm sure Tony or Eddie can chime in about the Toyos. Given they are essentially made by the same Company I'd suspect they perform the same. :yup:

Unless they are brand new like mine were, both slabs and tires, or are on Overlander's jeep as he had to balance his too. Maybe we are special.

Short bus special, yes. :yup:

Edit: It's probably because you guys are such elite drivers that you can tell when a micro fiber is out of place.

I think it was the violent steering wheel shake from 40-45 that even plebeians would notice.

Yes, the question was for you: in Italy, we usually balance Tires, especially when we use recaps tires...
If Nitto tires don't require balance operations, it means that their quality is very hight!!!

^^^This. Unless you feel some vibration, balancing is not really needed.

As mentioned, I've never needed to balance my Toyo's after installing them back when I was running them. Of the Nitto's I've run, I've only needed to have one set of Trail Grapplers balanced after install and that was because I was feeling a steering wheel shimmy at about 80 MPH.

My 37s wore me out today! Your 40s would probably kick my ass! :cheesy: But I will work for  :yup:

Unfortunately, I need to get them on before we leave for Moab so I will have to do them myself. Thanks for the offer though, I would have taken you up on it :D
