Is a wrap something that almost anybody can do with enough time and the proper tools or is this something that can easily be messed up and worth paying a shop to do? I'm wanting to do a wrap just to change the look up a bit but I know they can be upwards of $2000 if you have it installed
Much time and patience involved. The material can be Stretched around pretty tight edges and what not. A quality heat gun, magnets, squeegee hobby knife. And A patient friend. For starters. There are a lot of videos online. And one of the most time consuming parts can simply be the prep. The surfaces need to be CLEAN! Parts or body panels may need to be removed. As soon as the weather warms up I'll be doing mine and will do a video as well.

Ok, thanks for the help. Seems like something that's doable at home. I'll check out some videos and possibly give it a try.
I suggest getting a small amount of material and trying it out on something smaller first. Maybe a lawnmower? First time I used it was on my laptop

Yea I was thinking of buying a 99¢ sample on amazon to try it out and if I liked it, wrap below my tailgate since I'm not going to run a rear bumper and don't like the body color by the frame
cant wait til to see you get it done ive seen that blue you want at the shop
got mine wrapped two weeks ago
sorta wished i had gotten a black JK instead of white
i find myself going back and plasti dipping white metal here and there (just hard to wrap the entire jeep)
