Yup - I've always been interested in this stuff since I was a kid. Grahams book about the Ark - the Sigh & the Seal- I read back in the early 90's. He's one of my favorites for this stuff - he's not obnoxious & presents well. His books are great - Fingerprints of the Gods is a great book too.
Ben Van Kerkwyk is really good. His takes are pretty solid.

On the Possibility of Instantaneous Shifts of the Poles - Graham Hancock Official Website
In 1974 a young Italian naval engineer, Flavio Barbiero, published a ground-breaking book, Una Civilta sotto Ghiaccio (A Civilisation Under the Ice) which proposed for the first time that the remains of a lost civilisation may lie under the ice of Antarctica. He suggested that there had been a...grahamhancock.com
Thats some really interesting stuff. Especially at the end where the 12,000 year mark is mentioned which coincides nicely with the myths/religions of a great flood at that time.
Ever listen or read anything by Randall Carlson? His theories about the Younger Dryas flood sound pretty compelling. Plus he's got a lot of data that makes it look pretty plausible.
Can't tell if serious or just egging on.What do you think about this?

Totally serious. It’s happened before and core samples from deep drilling have shown magnetic particles in different directions at different depths. There are various theories what causes the shift but it’s has happened before. There has been a gradual shift in magnetic north going on for some time but the sudden shift is the real problem.

When Earth’s magnetic poles flip it could be “chaos” for future humans
Earth’s magnetic field is a dipole field because it has two poles, like a bar magnet.www.inverse.com
If I'm in that `hood, I ain't walking........Good illustration.
When you navigate by compass and map there is a difference between Grid North and Magnetic North and if you don’t compensate for that you can walk many more miles than you intended.![]()
We're just along for the ride until the planet decides we are insignificant and casts us out.I can’t seem to find info on it now, but I recall a story that Rush was talking about where scientists found tropical vegetation below glacier ice way up north. The vegetation was more inline with that found in the equatorial areas. Essentially the poles have shifted and probably many times over the eons. Pretty sure dinosaur farts had nothing to do with it and sure as shit, we have nothing to do with it now.
all of them are alien spaceship launching pads.
