They're not drones

What I don’t get is that most drones are limited to where you can fly by geofences in the software. Airports, military bases and other no fly zones are locked out. Maybe they’re home built drones, idk.

No all airports or airfields. Obviously these are bigger but there is an airstrip like two miles from my place that I get a notification about when I go too high. I can override it which leads me to believe it’s some type of setting as far as what is blocked out and what isn’t, but I can override the height max.

The geofence is in the software but it can be patched. Maybe the code is available on the dark web or something? Idk
Even the drones sold overseas have this geofence software and it’s for all surveyed airfields even in places you’d not expect.

In January DJI or rather the CCP turned off Geo fencing on their drones. My guess it's an effort to further cause chaos.
