Lol. It's been 116 here in Palmdale for the last 4 days. Also got 3" of rain in 45 minutes on Saturday. DV can keep it's 130. [emoji23]

Lol I’ve been there a few years in August. Think the hottest I saw was 118 but that was only near paniment springs and not where they usually measure these temps. Got a flat one year in that shit. Not fun.

I was living in Ridgecrest, working in Panamint Valley, in 1996. In a heat wave during June/July that year, Ridgecrest high temperature was over 120* for 22 days in a row.

Panamint valley usually runs 5 to 6 degrees hotter than Ridgecrest. It was a tough time to run an old open cab dozer for sure.

I don't think I'm tough enough to do that again. Once was enough for several lifetimes.
