That was my exact thoughts after it happened haha. I might look into it but I just schedule my regear at Trail Jeeps in a couple weeks so the jeep fund is kind of low at the moment

Well if you didn't already know, the evo 1/4 pounder and stinger always wins. View attachment 229256

Glad you and the jeep are good!
As my Dad would say "Damn hippies".
Lol. By the way Awesome build! I've been following it for awhile.
Regearing one axle at a time? I thought that was a big no-noThank you, it's coming along! Regearing my axles to 4.88 is the next mod happening in a couple of weeks.

How do you like the 4.88 and 37s? If you were on a D40 would you do 5.13?

Gotcha. Thought you were on 37s. Thanks.I can't speak to the 37s as I have 35s but so far it feels great. I have not driven on the highway yet with them though so I am itching to see how that feels. And yes I probably would've done 5.13 if I didn't have the dana30 in the front but regardless I don't regret waiting as I won't be able to upgrade that axle for a long time. I decided that when I do upgrade eventually I will just get the prorock with 4.88 so I will not need to regear the rear axle again.

If saving for a PR44, I'd wait till you have 80% of the funds, then put the 37s on there and wheel it till it breaks. Once it does, pull the trigger on the new axle. Just have to be careful where you wheel it and make sure you can make it home.Hahaha I am seriously considering running 37s on my d30 and just being careful. It's doable but it sounds risky

Loving it. Haven't used it offroad yet (need a new DS first) and I don't have much to compare it to, but it rides much better than stock IMO and the stance is perfect. Just need to keep pinching pennies for 37s.Yes that is a good idea. How are you liking your jspec?
