The Kool-Aid is Strong Over Here

Got in a few more parts yesterday. The ARB air locker manifold and the mounting plate showed up. Now I just need to order a switch panel to hook the lockers and some lights up to.

So I have a small update for today. Since I was off work yesterday I went over to Metalwerks Fab that's cutting off the cast and mounts off my axles to see what kind of progress they've made. Unfortunately they aren't done yet. The rear axle is done, and the knuckles are off the Dana 60 and some of the mounts and cast on one side. The head builder said they weren't done yet because they were finishing up a custom Rockwell bouncer with a turbo LS, so I can't blame them for finishing that up before my axles lol. Guys said they'll be done Friday!!!!!!

After being out of town all week for work, I got around to washing the Jeep and finally installing the EVO mini liners. I'm really liking the look of color matching them instead of doing black. Plus these things were easy as hell to install! Literally took me longer to find an extension for my drill than it did to install both of these, so next project needs to be reorganizing my took boxes lol. Here's a pic of each side finished.

I do have one question though, how the hell do I take this thing off of each side since I don't need them to help keep the old inner fenders on?

I kept mine on with the sub structure trimmed so the cut fenders don't sag and look like dog ears.

No update on the Jeep today, but I did pick up my axles from the shop on Friday. I've come to the conclusion that I don't have enough money right now to finish the axles before the EOS run, but they will be in by the next run after the EOS. So instead of buying more axles parts, I ordered something I really needed, new sliders. On the last prerun to Windrock my N-Fab sliders bent and pushed into the body on the passenger side and left a nice dent. I got pissed and decided to order an actual good set of sliders this time. So I'm happy to say that my new EVO sliders and rock skins should be here next week or the following Monday!!!! These will be in before the EOS run. My plans are to rattle can paint the sliders black because it would be stupid to powder coat them since I plan on using them. Now for the rock skins I'm going to have them color matched Gecko Green because I love the color of my JK, and I don't want to cover it up with black lol.

And also, I have a small project going on that me and my girlfriend are doing for her little nieces birthday. Since we are both into Jeeps, we decided what better birthday gift than a Barbie Jeep! But since I don't like pink and neither does the girlfriend, we decided to strip the Barbie Jeep down and paint it to match my Jeep!!! Here's just a few shots of the progress so far. We should have it finished up tomorrow! Before you guys say anything, the Jeep is white because we are putting down primer first. The green will be put on tomorrow

I really like the Evo liners and I'm thinking about color matching a set. Yours came out great, do you have a picture from a little farther out?

Looks good! I think we are all anxious to see the front and rear ends. Any idea of an estimate for such a build ?

I noticed a while back Artec mentions a possible clearance issue with the fuel tank. Or is that only with a 4 door ?

Saving up for 60's is a serious drag. I have new 40's waiting to be used.

Cheers.
