The Kool-Aid is Strong Over Here

Time for a little maintenance. And yes I know I need 4 quarts of gear oil, I just didn't get all of them in the picture

Well I haven't updated this thing in a while now. I've been way to busy with my new job and actually going off road, so not too much computer time lately. But the Jeep has had some major upgrades. As you could see, my Jeep is running stock Rubicon wheels and tires on a 3" lift, which didn't look very good. So I upgraded to some bigger meat! Here's the picture I took when I went to the local FedEx hub to go pick them up, and as you could see, it was a TIGHT squeeze!
Tires are 37x12.50x17 Mastercraft Courser MXTs.

But to get ready for those big tires, I had to do a little more modding to get them to fit. I started with cutting my stock fender flairs. So I stopped by my local O'Reilly auto parts and got a few things for the install.

First I grabbed some door trim to put on the edges of the cut fender. Then I got 2 3/4" LED side lights and a new step drill bit because my one at home wasn't big enough (ask me how I found out it was too small).

Here's some of the shots of my fenders during and after the cutting. I'm pretty happy with the way my fenders came out and gave me so much more room for my tires.
And these are the photos of the final product!

I just put on the same stabilizer. Got rid of the factory one. Firmed up the steering wheel. I like it and it looks good too

Actually, its a rear shock. My right rear has been leaking it, so I contacted Bilstein, told me to get a new one and send in my old. They're going to look it over and see of its a factory default. If it is, they'll refund me the $$$ for the new shock

Ah. Gotcha. When I saw only one, thought it was a stabilizer. Nice looking rig. Can't find gecko around in my neck of the woods

Haha well you're not the only one that thought it was a stabilize! I had a fee buddies think the same thing. And thanks my man!!! Yea Gecko is hard to find, I've only seen 2 around where I live, and both are 4 doors. Haven't seen a 2 door anywhere

I'm looking into hypergreen when it's released in may. Might have to get me one. Either a toss up between the black bear or a rubicon.

Now just cut the stock bumper into a stubby and your set! Looks good nice rig love that color!

Haha funny thing is, on the last WAYALIFE run at Windrock park, I cut the bumper thanks to Matt (MedixJK) and Trevor (thardy). Here's a pic of it now.
