Damnit Bobby. It looks good!!
So my jeep is almost 5 months old and has roughly 11k miles on it. I had the dealership do the second oil change around 9500 miles. When I picked it up it was leaking oil everywhere. I went back and they told me they put 3 filters on it before it stopped leaking. That was 1500 miles about. I kept seeing oil so tonight I started investigating by pulling the protek skids and crossmember and found the oil was coming from the top again. Looks to be leaking from around the filter once again. I'm really frustrated considering the jeep is almost new and the underneath is covered in oil. Gonna take it back tomorrow. We'll see!
I'd put money on they cracked the filter housing. Very common issue as the housing is plastic and the filter cap only needs 16ft/lbs.
Good luck!
On a different note, the Jeep is looking great!

Ah quit your bitching...yours leaks mine burns just consider it a feature :bleh: seriously hope it's a simple fix and no damage has been done.
Thanks, I'm hoping that's it and they get it resolved.
Hahahaha, no joke, I am bitching a little.I'm trying to go wheeling this weekend and things keep getting in the way!
Oh we are going wheeling this weekend! No excuses!
Your jeep is pretty new, but there is an updated housing specifically to address this issue. I believe the part number now ends with AB rather than AA.
