Looking good. I like the Jeep diff covers. Looking forward to seeing how this axles hold up.

Thanks man, it was my under 10k option! I'm looking forward to abusing them to give everyone a true opinion! I ordered form the dealership so the mopar performance ones come with the jeep diff cover.:beer:

What did you dobro have to make it work with the calipers?

Didn't the rear come with a raise track bar bracket or did you have to use the evo one?

So the issues I'm working through with the evo bolt on kit with the Spicer 60's are...
The rear calipers are HUGE causing the following issue,
Evo brakelines don't really work with the angle they have on them, the swaybar links won't work with the calipers, they hit them at full drop. I'm going to try and bend them and see if I can make them work. The factory rear trackbar on the ud60s would have hit the coilovers but now with the modified evo trackbar bracket the factory trackbar hits the diff cover.
The next issue I had was the rockstars don't fit the brackets so I have had to modify the rockstars quite a bit. I could have used the factory stock shock mounts but would have lost the ground clearance. I'm making headway. The lower coilover bolt is so close to the lower caliper bolt. I actually might custom make some new coilover mounting brackets and weld them to the axle. EVO says they are actually working on a kit for these axles. The front is so far so good!

Here's a better shot of the calipers and some of the issues noted above

1. Cool jack stands.
2. Are these are airlockers or e lockers?
3. I too, love the diff covers.
4. You're making tons of progress.
5. Can't remember.
6. Looks really good, I like your build.

Lol, I am working on 2 jeeps at the same time. I took my axles out of my jeep and I'm installing them in a buddy's jeep to give him my 4.10 gears and gussets along with my old lift and tires. I ran out of jackstands. Lol. Only have 8 of them. :)

These axles have the Eaton E-lockers. I'm gonna put them to the test. Only time will tell if I made a really expensive mistake.

Hoping to mostly finish up today!

Well I finished swapping axles for a friend. I took his 3.73 ones out and installed my 4.10s, lift and tires onto his jeep. Now back to wrenching on mine. Off to install the front coilovers.

Cool thanks for explaining it all. Do you just need a rear TB that has a different bend to it to clear the is diff?

Is it both links that hit the calipers on full droop?

A new trackbar might be the solution, because of the coilovers and the bypasses, it causes a whole other issue changing TBar brackets. I might be able to even just grind a fin if the diff cover.

Yes both links hit the calipers. The front is going together much better.

Moving along on the front today.
Cycling the axle through looking for issues.

Whats your impression of the axles so far. I almost got these over my prorocks.

I'm not regretting my decision yet. I'm happy with the quality, the brackets are welded very nicely and the brakes are big.
It's been a little frustrating installing them with the bolt-on kit. I was told the wiring harness was plug it ready but that doesn't seem to be the case so far. I think the rear brakes are overkill and have caused a lot of problems during the install. The rear parking brake cable location/design is just stupid along with the rear brakeline location on the caliper. I wish I could have ran slabs with 3.5" backspacing vs 4.06" chambers I have. Overall I'm very excited to see what they're made of. Not here to try and sell/convince anyone to go get them, I just couldn't pass up the savings for what they seem to be, at least for myself. Only time will tell. I'm thinking they will be perfect for my needs and wheeling, and yes, I'm sure I'll brake somethingonthem one day. I'm not running K.O.H. any time soon!

Thanks for the info. Someone I know locally had the same issue with the brakeline bolt on the caliper and switched it out to something else that looked much better and didnt stick out like the 90 degree bent one that comes stock. Cant remeber off the top of my head what it was but Id be willing to ask him if you want to know.

I'd love to know! Thanks. That would be a big help.

He bought them from these guys

http://www.hoseandfittingsetc.com/product/hose/brake-hose-stainless-steel-braided

There all custom made you just give them your length and what fittings you want. Here is the fitting he used he said he just bent it a small amount so the brake line would be facing upwards not out towards his shocks like the stock setup.

He doesnt have any pictures and is out of town for another 2 weeks but he said he can send me a pic if I want when he gets back if needed.

Okay they is good to know. Glad the front is going better.

Not that it's kosher but could you run the links in the inside of the sway bar and the lower axle mount? I am not sure it that affects the geometry of the sway bar but it may give you a little more clearance.

I will ask my buddy what he did with his brake line. He was having trouble with it.

Also look into the master cylinder upgrade. I was told the stock one makes the brakes feel too spongy, I can ask him for the part number if you would like.

I am sure there are others that are happy to read your work through on these axles and suspension.
