The College Football Thread

We were in Boulder early this morning. Police escorting about 5 buses. Crazy traffic strategies. I assume it was related to the game.

Boulder is definitely not a place an "off roader" will appreciate! Sorry you have to frequent that armpit.

Even back in the 80's Boulder was like little Kalifornia. I'm sure it is one worse now.

As for the game, I got to hear most on the radio, thought it was over at halftime, but the second half was quite a change of fortune.

I hope Nebraska has a good year, but I can never cheer them on against Colorado.
 
FSU has blown a 24 point halftime lead, against what should be a far inferior team, ULM, and is hanging by a thread in overtime.

If they loose, I wonder if their coach will claim they were dehydrated, like he did last week?

Fans will be ready to burn him at the stake soon if this keeps up.

LSU is looking like a real contender right now against a worthy opponent Texas. College football is the best!
 
Well Penn State won but they weren’t playing anyone. Not a great first half but an outstanding second half. I am headed back to PSU next weekend for the Pitt game. I bet it’s been 8-9 years since I was last up there for a game.

They evacuated Husky Stadium due to lightening...it’s pouring rain, lightning & thunder at my house now

The announcer on the USC game said it was the worst lightning storm ever in the Seattle area, and the first time there has ever been a delay for lightning there.

I stayed up to watch the game...it didn’t get over till after 12:30 am...Cal won it in the final seconds.

Also kept tabs on my UH Warriors (that game also went well after midnight)...they hung on to a win by a field goal against the Beavers in Hawaii...

I’m going to have to get used to staying up late to watch Hawaii...6:00 pm kickoffs Honolulu time...most guys in the east coast have never seen a Hawaii football game...
 
A dismal outing for the UH Warriors at the hands of UDub...ditto for Cuse as they got spanked by Clemson...
