One of the guys in our club just reregistered his 93 YJ with a newly installed used 8 cylinder. They gave him "Classic Rod" plates so he doesn't have to smog it and the inspection was nothing. Lucky bastard. I'm sure he paid a lot less than my $460 for the plate too.

Pros:
Works great! Does what it's supposed to do. I run it in the summer with the soft top. Don't worry about leaving stuff in the jeep.

Cons:
I can't fit the ARB cooler under it. I like the flush mount look of the self-build ones.

Haha...I'll be in that boat shortly. We're on two weeks notice for #2 popping out.
This is likely my last wheeling excursion for sometime....or at least until my other gets comfortable with riding along.
