The building of knuckles

Get a stabilizer clamp from synergy,it fits the rk. Its 40-50 bucks.

Tried the synergy one first, quadratec sent me the one that fits the normal diameter tie rod. So to make sure I had the right one the second time, I just bought the RK one. It's super beefy, but $95 is a lot for a bracket...

Sorry for the thread hijack Mike!!!

^^ LOL!

This thread has been on and off track so much I don't think anyone notices any more.

I have the Synergy one on order. There are 2 part numbers. The place I ordered it from screwed up the shipping, so when it finally gets here I have not doubt the wrong on will arrive. So I'll be running sans SS for a while. :naw:

You can still keep it and they do have a way to adapt the sound bar too.

Oh I'm sure it works. I am just not willing to take my interior apart just yet. You are talking to the guy who, much to the amusement of Sharkey, still chases down every squeak, rattle and errant sound on my jeep. I know..."It's a jeep" but that doesn't cut it for me.

I think with the stinger, sport cage, C-pillars support and rear tire carrier, I have a lot of support in the event of a roll over. I may actually have a bar welded between the two C-pillars as an extra precaution. :idontknow:

Mine is backordered as well. I have an 09 so the stock one works fine but I just like the look of the stainless clamp:yup:

Yeah, I wish I could just use my stock one. But I don't see that happening very easily. I heard they are at least 30 days out. I found one back east that should have been here Friday.

How's the operation of the carrier? Any lifting of any sort to get the pins in etc. ?

Yes, a little. But I think you want it that way. Requiring a little lift when you put in the pins keeps it from rattling or clunking on bumps. Without my tire the holes aligns perfectly, but rattles a little. With the tire it requires a little lift for the top holes to align...but is rattle free.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Lol. MTG doesn't need my help...he lets me hang around so I can feel like I still have a Jeep to work on. :cheesy:

I looked for a write-up on the muffler bearing.

Hopefully Sharkey knows how to change them.

:cheesy:
