The building of knuckles

I have to get the skins and carrier to powder coat tomorrow and I also use my jeep as my daily driver. Having cut out a portion of my rear quarter panel and hard wiring my LEDs there was no way to easily put the stock taillights back in for the week. So I had to improvise...and I had about 20 minutes to figure it out. As you can see, there is no worry about me quitting my day job and becoming a full-time fabricator. :cheesy:

I said would have, not will. There is no longer a pending offer for which an effective acceptance can be tendered.

That's a lot of duct tape....and white duct tape at that!

I also dig the license plate in the obligatory Truck balls location.

I was going to use pink but then I figured you'd be bugging me to drive it...again. :cheesy:

Thanks for the pics. I might look into having this done before I do the install. What the tube size?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I896 using WAYALIFE mobile app

I wouldn't do it before. I would think you would want to tack the tubes on while the skins are mounted; that way the tubes help the skins retain their "as mounted" shape.

Great advice! Do not, I repeat do not weld the tube on without the skin being mounted to the tub.
