The building of Bison

I’m thinking I might go up to 350s in the rear. I’m still running about 2.5” of preload. Or I’m just going to say screw it and order a DTD. The fun never ends.

I am built about the same as you and feel like I need to go up to 300/350s in the rear also. Hard to beat this sagging when loaded.

How much space do you have off your bumpstops in the rear when you are loaded up with the 2.5” of preload. Thinking I need to add stiffer springs and more preload.

I’m running fox adjustable bumps on the rear and they are set at 3” normal and they squash to about 2.5” fully loaded. But I’m always about 75% loaded. My fuel Rez is always full and most of the tools and parts stay in there.

That sounds about where I am at also. Currently have 250/300. Probably gonna go to 300/350 and add another inch of preload.

Your JK is looking sharp in the snow! Such a clean build.

Good to see Bison out in his natural habitat. We don't even have that much snow up here.

Thanks guys, it was a great day trail riding thru the woods. There was about 12” or so. The Nittos did pretty well running at 8 psi maintaining traction.

Looking good as always. How did his rig do?

Good for his first run out. It had amp research fold down steps when he bought it and we didn’t want to screw then up before he could sell them off. He’ll use those funds to buy a proper set of rock rails and then the fun can begin.

Still working on Ben, he was at Holly with us and went up to Rocks and Valleys with us yesterday. He drove mine the whole time, I was mostly out taking pictures and helping to spot Steve up. Steve’s been to Holly, Rausch, and the Badlands with me. So I got the addiction set really deep into him and he’s the one that just bought that black JKU. I still can’t believe it only had 17k on it when he bought it two weeks ago and it’s a 2015. The little lady he bought it from drove it less than you drive Brick 🤣🤣

But he couldn’t be happier, we just need to find him a set of rubicon take offs for the axles so we can get him locked up and he is all set.
