It's been a while since I've run Rancho 9000's but have you tried cycling the slower shock by hand? Compress and allow it to extend a few times? If so, did it ever get better?

After messing with the shocks for a bit and calling the guys at Rancho I got it all sorted out. Thanks for the Matt and Eddie!

Yesterday my son and I were able to install the new Rancho coil lift with the 9000's. It took way too long to get it all installed but we did it correctly and went back when it was all done to make sure everything was tightened/ torqued back up the way it needs to be. I did not take many install pics but I did get a few "After" shots.

Now for the ride report... I set all the shocks to 1 and took it around the block for its initial drive. It soaks up bumps and manhole covers with ease and feels really soft (as expected). When turning the wheels back and forth while driving it does not have the sway that was there before and feels stable and planted. Next I took it down the road to Dairy Queen to reward my son for his hard work. I got up to 60mph and it still felt great. After getting my boy a blizzard I tested out some big speedbumps in the theater parking lot. Hitting the speed bumps with the stock suspension was pretty violent and jarring. With the new shocks and springs it was very cushy feeling and not at all jarring. I realize that this whole thing is very subjective but I am in love with the new ride. It is pretty squishy and I will have to dial up the suspension to maybe 3 and try it again. Overall I am very pleased and satisfied with my purchase. I love the look of my Jeep with the small lift and it is pretty much perfect for what I personally need. Those curbs at the mall will not stand a chance now!

I still want to get C gussets for that extra piece of mind but for now I think the suspension may be done...for now;)

That looks great! Thanks for the report. I've been looking for a soft riding 2" lift for a while now. This may be my answer!
