The Build of NABOO the Starfighter JK

these look nice however it says they are only 2.37" long. i have been told i need 3" or the lugs will bottom out..? but i do need 9/16-18 :thumb:

9/16-18 seems to be a standard on 8 lug tons threads, i can’t see how the studs could be any longer than what came on my rear 60, I’m pretty sure they are 3” studs and the wheel (Chamber Pro II) eats some of that up. I originally had some shorter lugs so i broke through the caps of the lugs, i just sent it since i had to drive the next day:

I don’t have a picture with the new lugs

any luck with black lug nuts? this product is only offered in crome right now.

Well today i thought I would tackle the front speakers.... man do I wish I did this before I got a cage!!!!!

Luckily I wanted to repaint my driver side from red (as you all loved) to yellow, so I wasn’t too sad about pulling it out.

All went ok but ran out of daylight and the speakers took longer than I thought so I didn’t get it all put back together. Driver side still drying.... hoping I didnt jack the paint up too much but guess we will find out.

Also forgot to post up the radiator I got. Big
Shout out to JDDK (Jon)!! Really thankful not only for the free radiator but for going over any expectations and hand delivering it to me last weekend!! thanks!

Finished putting the cage back together. Hope to never have to remove this thing again!!!!!!!

It is all yellow now but 1 piece and that’s cause the bolt started to strip when I was removing it so I decided to leave it. I’m cool with it.

Looks good! 👍 The one red piece is like the one different colored fingernail. 😂

Great thread

Nice re-build Mike!,

I just finished your build thread from start to finish. I am impressed with your vision and ability to turn out such a nice rig! These monster EVOLUTION 4 doors have been my inspiration to re-build my 2door and I’m still 2doors short of a full Jeep LOL!. I picked up black long lug nuts at Les Schwab. I also have a friend who installed open end lug nuts on his rig, but no lock.

thank you! hope it wasn't too bad of a read all the way through. i really like 2 doors. in fact i have almost though about selling mine and building a 2 door :thumb: though i would stretch the rear wheels.

thanks for the look on lug nuts, ill have to check out Les Schwab and see what they got but i would really hate to put open end lug nuts on. i don't think it looks very good at all.
